Mid-December, a good time to post…

Well, it’s finally up and running – officially. The real web site of champions – www.fellswaycreatives.com

An excellent source of fun and dietary fiber. Need a commercial for your business? Maybe a flash movie for your web site? How about a nice DVD from all of those wedding video tapes and files that you have cluttering up your place? Heck, I can even teach you how to edit your own stuff. Does that take money out of my pocket? Only editing money. I like teaching, too.

I haven’t read anyone else’s blog, so I’ve probably gotten this thing all wrong, but since it is my page to write what I wish -thanks to wordpress – I guess I’m free to write whatever I like… I think it is a little something called the First Amendment maybe?

OK, Celtics have a tough one tonight with the Hawks. Only two minutes left and tied at 79 each. Hope the Celts win.

Grammar of the Shot, 2nd Ed.

Yes, I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Ten months in the making, and my book, Grammar of the Shot (2nd Ed. Focal Press 2009) is just about to go to press. Hopefully it will be in book stores everywhere by March 2009.

There is a companion book in the series also – Grammar of the Edit (2nd Ed. Focal Press 2009). That is following hot on the heels of the first and should be out in March or April of 2009.  Watch for both…

This web site is in no way related to Focal Press and is not the official site for either of these books, but I took all of the photos and made most of the illustrations myself, so I’m going to post them as work that I have done. My co-illustrator, Jean Sharpe, did an excellent job and I am very pleased with her contributions to the visual material. You can check out her photos and other creations on the web.

Post or a Page?

I’ve yet to have time to read the help for this place…  post is one thing? page is another?  I’m not feeling the 21st Century I guess…  waiting for a file to render… the excitement is nearly doing me in…

Day Three – Why am I so dumb?

Have yet to really have enough time to figure this out…  saw my first post, but wasn’t sure how to find my second post…  this sort of “don’t get it” behavior makes me feel stupid…
